Salford Angels Women’s Institute happen to be spreading the word to help a Salford man who wants a kidney transplant.
The group met with Irlam citizen John who has constant kidney disease and features been waiting for a transplant for the past a few years.
His kidneys are 50 times larger than they must be and he has to expend four and a half time every other day on a dialysis device.
John said: “When I go to hospital I see folks from all different experience hooked up to dialysis machines.
“Needed people from all different backgrounds to register hence I’d like to thank this Salford Angels volunteering to multiply the message.
“It only takes a couple minutes to sign up thus I’d encourage all people to do it C you could alter someone’s life.”
The kind-hearted WI volunteers launched a campaign at Salford Civic Centre to encourage town hall personnel to sign up to the National health service Organ Donation Signup.
And throughout the week they are taking their details stand to Gateway revolves in the city in which members of the public can find out even more.
It’s all been timed to back up the national Organ Monetary gift Week which works from Monday 5 to Sunday 10 September.
Salford City Gran Paul Dennett, who listed at the launch, mentioned: “Organ Donation Few days is a great time to discuss organ donation using your friends and family.
“Statistics reveal that half of all parents in the country have not quite possibly spoken about donation however it is something we must all of think seriously with regards to.
“I’ve taken current debts register today because realise the importance it could possibly make to somebody else’s life.”
