The university of Windsor, which is popularly known for its quality education, shaped by community challenges, a transitioning world, and technological advancements has announced collaboration with Blackberry. This collaboration aims to build up and generate a cyber-security curriculum for the University's Graduate Master's Enter in Applied Computing. The curriculum, called BlackBerry Bootcamp will discover as part of a required Network Security course.

The completing the curriculum will account for part of the student's final grade. Blackberry Bootcamp will cover a variety of cyber security topics including digital identity protection and privacy, software engineering, latest techniques of cyber criminals, advanced threat detection technologies, and much more. Starting on May 18, it will be delivered over 10 weeks as a remote learning program to ensure students can continue the amount throughout the COVID-19 crisis.

The university and the company were both happy with the collaboration. President of University of Windsor, Mr. Rob Gordon said he was pleased to partner with Blackberry to supply learning opportunities for students. \”This innovative remote learning collaboration will give you students a distinctive opportunity to develop crucial data science skills and expertise that will allow these to succeed in this increasingly digital marketplace,\” he further added. Ross Romano, Minister of Colleges and Universities also hailed the choice as he commended the collaborative spirit shown by both sides.

She further added, \”Now more than ever before partnerships similar to this are important to ensure students can continue to learn remotely and prepare these to pursue careers in high-demand fields for example Data Science,\”
